Looking for the story in everything

About Me

You know that person at dinner parties who asks way too many questions? That's me (in an endearing way), and I turned that curiosity into a career.

No matter what I’m writing, curiosity is at the center of it. In my years of digital marketing, I think about the brand story and how can we translate that “vibe” into words.

As much as I love writing words, I also love reading them. As a kid, I crushed summer reading programs, and as an adult, I keep lists in my notes app of how many books I read each year.

Despite my love for introverted activities like writing and reading, I am an all-out extrovert. There’s nothing I enjoy more than random stories from random people. (It’s also what makes me so easy to work with!)

No matter what I’m doing, I believe there’s a story in everything. That may sounds cliché, but I wrote a piece about a toddler dropping her lollipop on the post office floor. (Trust me, there are stories at the post office too.)

Whatever your story is, I’d love to tell it.

  • I have experience in several different areas of writing: journalistic writing (think in-depth interviews and magazine features), digital marketing (think commerce review articles, brand stories), and personal essays (memoir, blogging, anything from my own experience.

While each type of writing serves a different purpose, my approach always centers on finding and telling the compelling story at the heart of every project.

  • Every project starts with a conversation. I believe in really understanding what you're looking for - whether it's capturing the perfect voice for your brand, diving deep into a fascinating topic for an article, or crafting the right narrative for your audience. From there, we'll establish clear timelines, milestones, and revision points to make sure we're always on the same page.

  • Looking for a writer or an editor? I can do both!  The best way to get started is to shoot me an email with a brief overview of what you're looking for. I'm happy to schedule a quick call to discuss your project in detail and see if we're a good fit.
